Obviously this isn’t OEM Apple charger, so you’re not going to get the style points. But this charger works just as well in a more utilitarian package. I have no complaints with it; it fits by PowerBook snugly and works. It just isn’t worth the money to by the Apple replacement, when these cost so much less and work just as well.

Price was great, the charger works well with my apple Ibook G4, shipping was speedy!
the only tiny cosmetic thing was that part of the chord is white, and the other side of it is black. but thats just a tiny cosmetic thing
The charger is also smaller and MUCH easier to carry then the original charger the laptop came with
im happy

I have a Powerbook G4 and I needed a new powercord. This one fits perfectly into the power socket and the cord is nice and long. It is a fraction of the cost of a genuine Apple replacement cord, and it works just as well (if not better).
DO NOT BUY THE HQRP power cord for Powerbooks. It does not fit in the socket properly and it is a waste of money.

I needed an extra power adapter to keep on my desk at work. Bought this and have had no issues with it. Works fine and is much less expensive than the genuine Apple supply.

this is a simple adapter that works fine with my white ibook power PC G4 purchased in 2004. it’s maybe just a hair shorter than apple’s, and it’s a two-piece cord (the “harness” plugs into a grounded power adapter), but no problems at all. maybe one slight disadvantage is the lack of a color light at the part where it plugs into the computer that lets you know that the battery is charging or charged, but your computer’s status bar will do that regardless. $20 including shipping is a great deal.
