I bought this for a PowerBook 12″ (1.33GHz model) with a power input that no longer works. We were lucky to have two well-working batteries for this machine, and with this external charger we are still able to use it, by running it on battery all the time and charging the batteries on turn with this charger.

Be aware that the indicator lights on the charger may be a bit misleading, and that it seems to charge in “pulses” (to avoid heating?). It’s actually charging whenever the indicator shows red. Use the indicator on the battery itself to see when it’s fully charged.
